Inventory Controller

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join the team with Australia's largest, family-owned food service distributor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the movement of inventory within the sites, maintaining procedures and conducting reports.

Based in Chullora, this ongoing position will start at 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 9:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct regular stock adjustments and inventory maintenance tasks
• Generate inventory reports and thoroughly investigate any discrepancies
• Ensure adherence with HACCP Food Safety requirements
• Identify and address warehouse layout issues, providing recommendations for change to the Warehouse Manager
• Provide assistance to the branch for all stock-related inquiries
• Prepare for stock take in accordance with the guidelines

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience in inventory control or a similar role
• A strong understanding of inventory management systems
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software
• Ability to work independently and manage work schedule unsupervised
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
